You need a USI if you are a: 

• undertaking a nationally recognised training 
• Graduating from any higher education in 2023 and beyond.
• Seeking Commonwealth financial assistance (e.g., a HECS-HELP loan) for higher education.

You won't be able to receive your statement of achievement, qualification, or award unless you have a USI. You won't be eligible for HECS-HELP, either.

The USI gives you access to an online record of your nationally recognised training as a VET transcript for students who have completed their studies in Australia. This can be used when: 

• applying for a job 
• seeking a credit transfer 
• demonstrating pre-requisites when undertaking further training.

Do I need a USI to study with Galaxy Training Australia?
